A: Yes, we welcome customer cGMP audits.

Order Questions

Q: What is the minimum order?
A: The minimum order is $250.00 with the minimum packaging typically being 5 kilos.
Q: What are the payment options?
A: American Laboratories accepts: Visa and MasterCard (credit/debit cards) and Checks. Discover and American Express cards are not available payment options.

Product Questions

Q: What is an enzyme?
A: An enzyme is a substance that occurs naturally in all living things that helps make metabolism possible. Within the body enzymes also help it to function, repair injuries and ward of diseases. Enzymes help in both the digestive and nervous systems.
Q: What is Pancreatin?
A: Pancreatin is an enzyme mixture derived from porcine pancreas glands. The three principle enzymes are Lipase, Amylase and Protease.
Q: Do you test your products?
A: Absolutely. We test our products for physical and chemical properties, enzyme potencies and microbiologically.
Q: Where can I get information about a particular product?
A: For each of the products and enzymes that American Laboratories offers, a specification sheet is available. Specification sheets for enzyme products can be found under the enzyme page and all of the remaining products can be found under the products page. Rolling over each of the categories will reveal all of the products in that category. Clicking on the product you want will reveal its specification sheet.

Q: Do you have to use the USP reference standard when testing products with the USP testing monograph?
A: Yes, otherwise the product will not conform to the USP testing requirements.
Q: Can you make a "custom" proprietary enzyme blend for our company?
A: Yes, a proprietary blend should belong to you, the customer, not the supplier.
Q: If I have raw frozen glands from an animal, can you process them for me?
A: We cannot process glands unless they are accompanied by the proper USDA documents that are furnished by the USDA inspected facilities.
Q: Can I label our glandular tablets "raw glandular tissue?"
A: No, we do not consider our glandular powders as being "raw."   Our glandular powders are desiccated (dried) powders made from raw frozen glands.
Q: What do the abbreviations BGALU and ALU mean? What is the difference?
A: Beta-Galactosidase Acid Lactase Units and Acid Lactase Units. Beta-Galactosidase is a synonym for Lactase.
